Changing Minecraft Access

Hello everyone,

I bought Minecraft way back in the day when it still used Mojang accounts, and I migrated to a Microsoft account a couple of years ago. The thing is, I was a kid back then, so my mom bought it on her account, and access to the game was bound to her Microsoft account.

Now, though, I'm getting older, and I have my own Microsoft account. My mom is complaining that I need to use her email to play Minecraft and that I should use my own instead so that I don't have her email and mess stuff up accidentally.

I'm just wondering if it is possible to migrate Minecraft access from one Microsoft account to another Microsoft account because I don't want to spend another $40 for Minecraft and basically reset all of my progress on some of the servers.

The workaround would be to add a new alias and set it as primary

This is because removing you old email would completely delete it (your mother´s) from Micrososft´s system making it unusable

Ok, I lost access to the account, and the email the Minecraft account was migrated to was changed so I wouldn’t be able to gain anything from accessing it anyway. What should I do?

Hi I have recently lost access to my gamertag on minecraft due to changing my password for my emails is there a way of recovering that account ?

I've got access to my Microsoft account, I said that I won't have access to it for much longer so I need to change my Minecraft account to another mail, how do I do that

I am using the following website: https://hypixel.paniek.de/player/6538db5abf3a47a79f2f86b3057b350d/status to see that they are using my minecraft account to access the hypixel server. Furthermore, on my own side with my device, changing username, gamertag, password or using the force all sign out on microsoft security settings has not made my own minecraft launcher force me to sign in again, it simply uses the fact that its been logged in before and still lets me just press play and access any servers without a need to re-enter details. This seems like a vital security issue as a change in password should cause all minecraft launchers to sign out. Since then, I have also tried it on my friend's PC, where upon changing the password, it still allowed me to access my minecraft account from his launcher without needing to re-enter details there as well. For some reason the basic minecraft launcher does not require a re-entry of login details upon account password change.
