I talked with "Gina A." on the xbox support chat bubble about changing my gamertag. Gina said that she was unable to help directly, but I could make a post about it here and may receive a $10.00 gift card for the purpose of changing my gamertag.

Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

Sorry, but she gave you incorrect information. No one on the forums cam give you $10 for the fee and there is no way to wave the fee. If you want to change your tag. You Wil have to pay.

Yes, changing the gamertag again should be possible, als changing back to your previous Gamertag is possible, as long as your original Gamertag isn't already taken by somebody else.

Keep in mind each change will require a payment.

I'm afraid there are no free gamertag changes, if a gamertag was deemed to break the CoC/ToU then you will given a generated one and if you want to change the gamertag into something chosen by yourself it will have the fee like any gamertag change.
