Changing From UK to US and buying games

Im not sure how to go about asking this.

I am living in the UK and i am wanting to buy DYING LIGHT tomorrow, but on my xbox store (UK) it says release date is on the
30th

on the US store it says the 27th

so would it be possible to change my region to US and
THEN BUY/PREORDER the game so i can download it and play tomorrow/12:01am

will this ban my account? is it ok/legal to change region and buy games.

what if i went on holiday to the US and took my XBone with me and changed it to the
US and then brought the game, came home and changed it back? would that effect my account?

If i can will i be able to change back over to the UK version and play my downloaded game?

Sorry if this is confusing.

Buying UK points from the US

Yea, I am not into that pyramid scheme stuff. I have attempted amazon but have only seen an option to have the card mailed to you and since I am from the US they will not mail me a UK card.

i wouldn't trust any company with ms points except ms thats how alot of people lose their accounts

most others that promises free stuff i'd take it with a grain of salt

remeber most rewards programs require spending money

and free rewards are always little but legit

do you really want to risk 1000s of dollars because you canot be bothered to spending the money for 60dollars worth of ms points?

amazon allows for emailing ms points codes make sure you buy from the correct region

no you cannot buy a game from another region to play it cause when you switch back it will not be playable

Games unlock depending on the region you bought them, so if you bought the US version, you'd be able to play it now.

Nope, makes no difference. Games unlock on the release date of the region you bought them from, regardless of which region your console is set to.

I'm in the UK, I've bought games from the US before that release on a Tuesday in US, Friday in UK, I leave my console set to UK all the time, I've been able to play games on the Tuesday.

If you're in the US, and own Dying Light, try switching your console to UK, where the DL release isn't until Friday, you'll still be able to play it.

thanks for the response, i’ve tried all the advice and none still change it from us to uk. on a normal browser at the bottom it will say uk but on this specific browser the game im buying will take me to will say us.
