    Hi

    I've bought the add on for Assassin's Creed but meant to buy it as a gift and email it. Anyway I can change this or can the person download it onto their xbox instead of me doing it through my account.

    You would have to redeem them for an Xbox gift card and then you can use the money from your gift card to purchase digital content.

    Keep in mind, in order to use currency from gift cards for 360 content, you do have to make the purchase from a 360 console.

    You would have to try contacting support to see if they can refund it so you can repurchase it as a gift. 1-800-4my-xbox if you're in the US/Canada or Contact Us | Xbox Support

    Hello!

    Gifts are set up by region and will not be redeemable if it was purchased from a different region. Changing consoles region to another region falsely will not change the outcome. The only option would be to have the person that purchased the gift to attempt
    to reverse the purchase of the gift as the code will not be able to be redeemed in a different region. Refund Webform

    Gift Code Region Error

    Gift codes are set to region and cannot be changed region wise, perhaps you can go to the same place you purchased it for an ask for a refund. Then purchase from the same region that you are in :).

    Gifting is region locked. There is no way around that. Changing your region would require you to have a payment method from that region and it's not recommended to try changing your account region to bypass region restrictions. The only other way to gift
    it is to find a website where you can purchase the item for their region.

    You would have to try contacting the retailer you purchased the card from to see if they will exchange it for an Xbox gift card, but there is no other way to change the card.
