    Changing emails for my minecraft java account


    I bought minecraft java on my dad's account and I'm trying to link the game to a different email, but I can't find a way to connect it to my own account without changing his microsoft details. Can anyone help me shift my minecraft game to an account with my email address without altering my dad's account?

    Hello ChargedVortex3, If you purchased the game directly from your parent's Microsoft account, you won't be able to pass it on or transfer it to another account.

    What existed before was the migration to the Microsoft account, however when a digital license is purchased in one account, it cannot be moved to another.

    hi Lucas, minecraft java edition was purchased through mojang and then the account was migrated to my Microsoft account. My son has his own Microsoft account and it's been added to the family account. Now I need to change the Minecraft login credential to using his microsoft email.
