Changing email, existing email is not active anymore and not able to login to account

I've had Xbox Live for 13 years (since the release date) and the email connected is an old hotmail I can't access. I can login to Xbox Live with it, but I'm not sure if it's because of the auto sign in or if it actually work with the password I'm pretty
sure I use. I dare not try because if I log out I may not log in and play again.

The problem is can't login here on Xbox.com, and I can't reset the password because I can't access the email account.

What do I do?!

Also, I have to say the Xbox support is one of the worst supports I've experienced. 10 years ago (or maybe a little bit more) it was fantastic, I could call and talk to people with my own language (Swedish) and they always solved the problem. Now I can't
call anywhere..... ok, lets email.... no, there's no support email available.... ok, lets start a chat.... no, that's not possible because I don't have any error code... ok, lets start a forum thread.... how the hell do I do that??? *15 min later*, I probably
need an account.... but I can't sign in, that's the main problem.... ok, I have to start a new account.... finally.... let's wait for users(?) to help me. wow

Trying to recover dl content I purchased in 2011 from gamertag not in use

The email address is just like a login name. It doesn't have to be active to be able to login to the Microsoft account for your gamertag. If you visit account.microsoft.com and enter the email address and password for the account you will be able to login
and change the sign in information.

You will need to be able to signin to the purchasing account for the old content so you can download it to your console

It is not possible to transfer that content to a new account

 

Cannot change Windows Live ID

if i try creating with the same email it says email not available

to restate my problem and goal;

i have my XBL account with email A, i do not use email A anymore so it may get deleted by yahoo.

i want to move my XBL account to use email B but when i try to login with email B it says no such account

when i try to create and account (on WL) it says email B is not available

my goal is to be able to log into my XBL account with email B
