Hi can anyone help please our son has moved out but we are keeping the xbox 1 here and need to change the Email Address and the Account but we have also lost the password for the last Account

Ran into an issue with backwards compatible games. (Please Help.)

It gives you an option to download new profile (Gamertag). It will have you enter your email address and password, and everything should be there. I changed my Gamertag last week and everything worked perfectly fine.

signing in says email and password are not valid but i get on windows live

Try changing your password to your email address and sign in again.

I made a new Facebook email and I change my main accounts email but I now want my old email back on my account as I don't use the email so just want my old one back omit so I can remember it easier then insted having different emails if I phone xbox will
thay sort it out for me ?

When did you change the email address associated with your gamertag? You can only do it once every 30 days. More details on this can be found here under "Can I switch my gamertag to a different Microsoft account?" .

As for the error code try these steps:

Verify that your billing information is accurate and up-to-date as it appears here: billing.microsoft.com

Verify that you are not using a prepaid credit or debit card (most don't work on LIVE)

Try using your card on both your console and on Xbox.com.

Call your bank to see if they have placed any limitations on online spending.

If none of that works, you may have to call support and talk to someone in billing.

Settings | Account | --> --> Account Security | Change Microsoft Account
lets you do it yourself.

However, you must wait 30 days after the last change of Microsoft Account addresse.

Password the same as other passwords? Dude, that's like wearing a HACK ME sign at a Hacker's convention. PLEASE make sure the password is different on the Xbox service, as hackers who get into an email account using the same password now have your Xbox password.

I did it ages ago about 2months ago I put it on a other account and tryed recently and it disintegrated work ?
