    Changing email address but don't know existing email


    Hopefully someone can help me.

    My gamertag I use seems to be linked to another email address which I no longer remember. The telephone number is also not used anymore as it's an old contract phone.

    Noticed this when I logged in on my pc to buy bf4 premium, and noticed an old gamertag (created to start again but never used) on my email.

    I log in automatically on my xbox with my usual gamertag , the email at the top right hand corner is the email I want it associated with and also looking in the current account section also has the correct email.

    Also concerned that all the dlc I baught whilst logged in with my gamertag will not apply to this account but the gamertag associated with the email on my console.

    support isn't helping saying I need to complete an account recovery form but the details it asks for are not relevant.

    anyone able to offer advice?

    Won't let my change my primary email adress

    So on step 6. of the changing your email address you add in an allias and the stupid thing just says "THIS EMAIL ADDRESS IS ALREADY TAKEN. PLEASE TRY ANOTHER." Even though i own the email address :/ It doesn't make ANY SENSE does it think "add an existing"
    means create one or something? it implies EXISTING...

    Anyway sorry i'm very angry about this but i don't want my microsoft account associated with the current email it has, i want the REAL one that i actually use :/

    Did you create an vaildy email to switch the account to? If not create an email that you can switch the account to or you can ring up xbox support for help on how to do so. Other forum ppl may have better info on this problem.

    It isn't possible to transfer accounts. You can change the email address, there are risks that by deleting the existing email address, it will delete your account.

    Hello. I am having the same issue however, the email that the confirmation code will be sent to does not exist anymore. I was trying to change the email address on microsoft but it will still send the confirmation to the email address that does not exist.
    I need to change my membership settings and there is no way I can do it. Can someone please help??

    Parental e-mail address removed, tried everything but the forums.

    Have you tried logging on to the parent account to change the email address? I understand that the email doesn't exist anymore, but can you log into the GT accociated with it? If so, you can change the email address then accept
    the new terms of use. :)
