    Hi,

    Long story short Changing email/account :)

    Having 2 xboxes at home, one for my eldest son and one i use as mediaplayer.

    Problem is I cant use more than one of them at the same time as i have used the same Microsoft account for both.

    As my son now is old enough to have his own email, can i transfer/move my account to his email, without him loosing any progress in any games that was connected to my "account" ??

    and what will happen with my mediaplayer xbox, will i be able to create a new xbox Account using the same email/microsoft account as i used previously on my sons Xbox??

    Hello DHG Puma,

    Please follow the instructions on this link here in order to change the e-mail address associated with your Microsoft
    Account (formally known as your Windows Live ID)

    Make sure to look under "Switch Gamertag to a different Microsoft Account".

    On your console, press the guide buton, go to Settings => Profile => Account security => Change MS account => follow the steps given.

    Re-read your post, sorry you may not have actually done this.

    This is what it comes back to after i changed my password...it still wants to send me a code to the email i cant get into!

    I'm not entirely sure since I've never done it myself, but I don't see why you would lose any progress. It's just changing the email associated with the Gamertag, not starting a new account, so I'm assuming it would keep the same saves in the cloud.

    Hopefully someone else can confirm though.
