    Changing X-box e-mail

    I can't seem to change my email address that's linked to my Xbox account. The reason why I want to do this is so that I can activate my Microsoft account. It doesn't let me activate on my current email. Please help me!

    To change your Live account email on your Xbox 360 Console you need to..

    -

    1. On your console, sign in using your Xbox Live gamertag.

    2. Go to Settings, and then select Account.

    3. Go to Your Information, and then select Billing Information.

    4. Enter your Microsoft account password, and then select Sign In.

    5. Edit your billing account information and then select Done.

    -

    Yes, it says Billing information but it should work. I had this post open all night and typed but never hit post, sorry about the delay.

    Hi there,

    please take a look at this support page at the section "Can I switch my gamertag to a different Microsoft account?"

    support.xbox.com/.../manage-microsoft-account

    You can only switch a xbox live acount to a different Microsoft account, so be sure that the other account is an Microsoft Account.

    The how to create a Microsoft account, new or based on a different email address can be found there as well
