Changing D.O.B on Microsoft.

As Brad mentioned. Once an age is set it's permanent. While the system will let you change the D.O.B anytime. It won't recognize the new D.O.B This is to prevent kids from changing their ages to bypass things.

If you created your account with a different D.O.B and changed it to over 18 after making the account, that won't work, it will the stay with the D.O.B you created the account with.

The D.O.B on your Microsoft account can not be altered.

I'm confused as to why you need to do this. Your account information with regards to your D.O.B and address can be found via
https://account.live.com/ and logging in with Your Microsoft account. From there, you can change all of your person details if they are incorrect. However, if your account age is below the age of 18,
changing your D.O.B will not make a child account an Adult account.

With regards to purchases made on any of the services provided by Microsoft, you can see everything you have ever purchased on your account by logging in with your account at
https://billing.microsoft.com

The age you enter during the XBL account creation process has no affiliation or bearing on the WLID age on your e-mail account. They are two entirely seperate services. If you want your correct age to reflect on your account then
you will need to start over and create a new one with the correct information.



So long as you do not change consoles the download content, avatar items excluded, will be available for the new account to use.
