Changing avatar

just follow the link when he come over

 

I'm now using my partner's MacBook and I am still unable to edit the gamer tag. It takes me to the same screen I posted before.

ok do you have a friend that has a 360 or one that you can use to sign in on and then go to the link given to see if it works?

 

My partner's brother does, but he lives two hours away. I don't know anybody else with an Xbox, sadly.

This is a weird problem. O.O

 

yeah I know, (why is it showing to different pages for two different profiles) so weird.

 

I guess I'm just cursed or something. xD

 

naw it is just xbox being picky, but try to get on to an xbox and see if you can change it after that.

 

From everything that I've seen, it seems that it has not yet been made possible to change gamertags without using a console. I would imagine that with the growth of the mobile phone market and the ubiquitous nature of Windows, Microsoft will eventually make
it possible to change your gamertag via another device. Hopefully, somebody here will be able to prove me wrong.

 

You know, HyruleBalverine, (amazing username, by the way) I think you're right. I just have to wait and see if Microsoft will give me the privilege in due time.

 

I find no application to create an avatar in the Windows store. Help me

 

I couldn't find anything in the Windows store. The Games app is supposed to let you change your avatar, but it didn't work for me. What did work for me is this:

1) Download and install Microsoft Silverlight:

www.microsoft.com/silverlight

2) Go to your profile and click on Edit Avatar. It will take you to the Avatar Editor page:

live.xbox.com/.../AvatarEditor

You need Microsoft Silverlight to make it work, though. That was my original problem.

asrulsyam do you have a pc or mac? with silverlight installed and a current browser?
