Changing age so can acces privacy settings

Is there anyway way I can change the age of my account to I can adjust my privacy setting because I bought his xbox off him and hes only 14 so all of privacy settings are blocked please help

You can also try changing your privacy settings on the Xbox website. Sign in to your Microsoft account

 

Once the age on an account is set there's nothing you can do to change it.

Not sure what the age of the seller has to do with anything unless you bought his account of him.

Buying or selling accounts is strictly against the terms & conditions & would result in a permanent ban.

 

When there were family accounts the primary account could change the settings no idea how it works now, but as Daft has said your not allowed to buy and sell accounts.

You might get some resolve if the person changed the email settings to your primary email address and then contact support but you might also get the account locked or banned.

 

Probably bought the lot to access downloaded games.
