changing account to adult

hi

got problem with xbox live account

need to change privilage to get acces to all 18 plus content like ea gaming origin open account for my self i use his date of birth and he is 7 yrs old he dont use anymore the console and i wish to keep all the games on his account i cant promote his account
to adult or change it from my xbox account

question is can i reset his account and change his date of birth and keep everything on his account so i can acces as a adult

or change it some how under security from my account

try to use the contact us service witch is terrible to use and i cant even get a chat working so i post here



or maybe is direct number so i can call and fix this over the phone

i cant change my account to an adult account it keeps saying you've found a glitch can any 1 help please

 

Changing to adult account

Xbox account can only be converted to an adult account when the date of birth you entered on the Xbox account when you first signed up would make it 18 years old.

So for example if you are really 18 years old but when making the account selected a date of birth that would make you 16 then you would have to wait 2 years before you could convert to an adult account. There is no way around this.

 

Once you create an account, you cannot change the age on the account. You won't be able to change his account to an adult until the date of birth is 18. Even support cannot change the age.

 

ok so if i cant change the date of birth how i can acces origin or ea multiplayer online im adult and i got proof i dont wqant loose all the games from this account and what is account with live.

how this is impossible to change it i cant change it from security from website or acces games cuz it says i need to be 18 or over

how to reverse all this nonsense

your sugested answear is worse then google is any chance to get number to microsoft or email where u can make complain or get more light on this subject......

You can contact support, but since the age on the account is under 18, there is nothing they can do to change it to an adult account. You would have to create a new account with your birthdate. The UK number is 0800 587 1102

 

I will contact them 2morow all i want is acces as a a adult to origin ea and dont loose all the games on the account.

i knew the micrsoft will be a bad choice but u need to find out for yourself.........

support is rubish 1 choice and u basicly *** lol

i will call them and se what they can say about this, if not i will pursuit this matter

If you have a Adult that made your account for you, ask your parent or guardian. If you made the adult account change the settings on that account for your family account(s)

 

@mysweaty he didn't make an adult account

He took over his 7year old sons account

Which as mentioned once set the age of an account cannot be changed and it has always been legally binding

 

You will have to create your own account for ea and will have to keep your sons account for the games you already purchased

Accounts cannot be transfered nor can you break the rules of ea owns service the age requirements are for their own service which you have to abide by and cannot bypass
