    i would like to change the account on my laptop which is just a random account that i do not remember making and instead change it into my xbox one account. i have had a look and i cant find any tab anywhere on the settings to change my account any help
    would be great

    p.s when i created the account on my laptop i used a different email when creating my account

    Yeah I have Smartglass on my Windows 8 laptop too. Don't know if it works on any OS but windows 8 though

    so doing this:

    Windows 8 device (laptop, tablet, PC)

    1). Launch the Games app that is preinstalled with the Windows 8 OS. No need to download this app from the app marketplace.

    2). Scroll to the left where your avatar stands and select the "Edit Profile" option.

    3). Make the desired changes to your profile, click "Save" and you're good to go!

    (While viewing Xbox.com on any laptop or PC, you can also still update your profile at this page right here)
