    Changes to remote play, why cant I use the app?


    Ive been trying for 2 days to play remote play on my ipad with my xbox series s. When you could access on the app, it worked fine, actually worked! Now Its through the website, and it wont work, will not let me connect or play, everything is how it should be and yes the website just does nothing. Anyone else having difficulties? I miss the app! It was so easy!

    I'm using the xbox app to remote play Xbox, I didn't know there was a could gaming bookmark. That is very helpful but it doesn't solve the whole problem because its only for cloud gaming games. I cant play backwards compatible games with it but I could with remote play from my xbox on the xbox app.

    It worked all fine and I could see the picture and volume just cant change the channel through the one guide but No I don't have the Kinect I can change my channel with my regular remote on the xbox one but I cant use the one guide with it so its kind if
    pointless, but I was wondering would the Xbox one media remote work for changing the channels through the one guide? or do I need the Kinect no matter to change channels through one guide? Kinda pointless if I cant use the one guide and just my regular remote
    on my xbox, ill go out and get the media remote if that's what I need

    Yes, I agree. This is similar like remote play (app is the same). In the old xbox companion app for remote play you can use 4 controllers to remote play but unfortunally we canot use old xbox companion app with xbox series.

    WHY.., i repeat WHY put remote play on the website you’ve ruined it by doing so, it completely breaks trying to use the mic and talking in party, it breaks ingame audio, just enabling it alone breaks everything, THEN controls and gaming? even worse cant even do nothing bro please fix this.
    Just put it back on the app it was alot better there.
