Changes to How You Purchase and Watch UFC Pay-Per-View Events on Xbox

Hello avid MMA fans!

With a recent partnership between the UFC and ESPN, all UFC Pay-Per-View Events will be sold exclusively through ESPN starting now through the year 2026 in
the US only. This new purchasing flow will start with UFC 236 on Saturday, April 13th 2019. This means that Xbox customers will no longer be able to purchase the UFC PPV through the UFC apps on the Xbox One and Xbox 360.
Instead they will need to purchase the PPV through the ESPN+ service.

IMPORTANT NOTE: With this change, this means the Xbox 360 will no longer be a viable device to use for UFC PPV events. There is no longer an ESPN app available available to install on the Xbox 360 as the app on the Xbox 360 was decommissioned
by design years ago and is no longer supported. To watch a PPV event, you will have to use another device that supports the ESPN app like an Xbox One, Roku, Apple TV, etc.

If you are using an Xbox One to watch a UFC PPV event, here is more information on how you can watch these events on your console:

ESPN+ is a paid service that starts at $4.99 per month but has a 1-year subscription option for $49.99. If you wish to purchase a UFC PPV, you will need to be a ESPN+ subscription owner in order to have the option to purchase the PPV. If you do not wish to
purchase a paid ESPN+ subscription, you can sign up for a 7-Day free trial here:
https://plus.espn.com/. You can only sign up for a free trial if you have not previously signed up for
a free trial.

Once you have signed up for one of the ESPN+ subscription options (trial or paid), you can then purchase the UFC PPV here for $59.99:
https://plus.espn.com/ufc/ppv.
You will need to visit that URL in a browser to make the purchase. Purchasing PPV events inside the ESPN app is not currently supported on any device that provides the ESPN app.

If you wish to purchase the PPV and also bundle that purchase with a 1-year subscription of ESPN+, you will need to make that purchase

BEFORE signing up for any paid subscriptions or free trials of ESPN+. Once you are on any type of active subscription plan for ESPN+ (trial or paid), you will no longer be offered the $79.99 bundle offer for the UFC PPV and a 1-year subscription
of ESPN+.

Once you have purchased the desired UFC PPV, you will then be able to watch the PPV on your Xbox One through the

ESPN app. The UFC apps will no longer allow you to stream the UFC PPV events, you will need to use the ESPN app instead. You will also need to be logged in to your newly created ESPN+ profile in order to access the purchased PPV.
