    True but knowing MS charge and play kits they would break every 3 months and need replacing, now if they were the only option to power the controller MS would make a killing lol.

    Seriously tho, MS wont give up those dollars to help the consumer have a better experience which is a shame.

    I purchased a rechargeable battery pack / charger kit for $20.00 (I think) for my Xbox 360 a good while back & the rechargeable battery pack only recharges up to 75% (3 out ot 4) bars within months of being used.

    I haven't used rechargeable battery packs since then as I can buy a 36 pack of AA batteries on sale for $10 and it last me for about 3 months (give or take LOL).

    I got the Energizer charger that came with 4 rechargeable AA batteries, plus I bought another 4 batteries on top, that was back at Xmas for me and my son to use between us so we always have 4 fully charged batteries. So the 8 batteries and charger came to
    a total of £20........ Bargain!

    Yep i have a rechargeable set i bought for £20.

    Found an even easier solution tho, remove the battery and just plug the controller into the console!

    Boas...... Doesn't work well with kids and dogs, they either get legged up and go flying or the controller gets ripped out your hands.

    Actually that was a BIG talking point of these companies about digital. All the talk about how this would help bring prices down for the consumer while giving more to the developer/publisher. And lower prices at launch would pull more people in to digital
    but they know that the ones who buy digital will pay $60 when a store copy is $20 so why lower the price. It was like the digital loaning/selling. There is no money in that. They could do that for digital right now and pull in more customers but there is
    no money to be made, only lost, in that.

    My systems seem pretty fast. I can, even without Kinect which is supposed to be a little faster, navigate quickly, launch games and apps quickly, and it is easy to find stuff. That said it could improve.

    I do however want the store to be improved. I would love to see categories added: RPG, Actions/Shooter/FPS, and things like that. If I am in the mood for a new RPG and have all the biggest I may search and fine one and buy. That way I am more likely to
    find games I do not have the name of to search for. I hear of most games, sure, but sometimes one or two will slip buy.

    The speed of downloading could also be a little faster. Slowest device I have but it is not terrible by any stretch. Just could be a little faster.

    I also would like the option to "buy for myself" and "buy for a friend". Sometimes on Steam I will buy one of my sons a game and would actually like to do that here. I have cash on my account. I would also like the option of gifting some of that from
    my account to others since one of my sons does not have the $$ on his account for Minecraft ($5) and I do not want to buy a card for that.

    The awesome thing is that MS does listen to their customers and give a way for people to request features. Even a voting system on some things that allow others to show support. That is pretty nice.

    I usually just get the nyko rechargeable batteries. I have them for my 360, and I was gonna get them for the one but I just ended up buying rechargeable batteries since I can use the other pair while one pair charges. I just prefer using a base to charge
    my controllers or batteries instead of having it plugged in, since USB charging is a lot slower. The problem with the nyko dock though is that for my 360 and my one I only have one controller, so if both batteries die, I have to wait until at least one of
    them finishes charging, because with the nyko batteries I cant use one while charging the other with only one controller.

    Just while you guys are on this topic, the official play and charge kits suck and always have, I had one for the 360 that died is 3 months, thought the Xbox One would be better, nope, only lasted 2 months.

    I use Duracell rechargeables which are brilliant, some I've used for a few years and they've lost a little bit of charge, but would easily still get a weeks use out of them. I'm the sucker that used to always put normal batteries in so had a monthly battery
    bill of like $20, haha.

    I get like 3 weeks or so with normal Duracell batteries and I play a lot. I've always thought they lasted a while.

    But if it vibrates the way it does like a magnitude 6 earthquake for 6 hours straight, it's going to pretty much drain the batteries quickly. I also have energizer rechargeable batteries and have an energizer charger which charges 4 AA/AAA batteries from
    0-100% in 36 minutes. It's green, and it saves wasting money on single-use disposable batteries which are not quite as environmentally friendly as rechargeable batteries.

    Many people seem to not like that Windows 8 UI M stuck on an Xbox console. Sometimes it feels like the console with an 8 core processor and 8GB RAM is running Windows Vista, and I have Fibre internet. Microsoft has updated/changed the UI many times on Xbox
    360 so they'll do the same on Xbox 1, especially when Windows 10 releases worldwide this month which I'm excited for. Xbox 360's UI is really good, and it runs on weaker hardware than Xbox 1, which proves UI performance isn't based solely off hardware or your
    internet.
