    I wanted to change one of my account names because it had a letter missing but the website signed me in on the wrong account now i cant change it back because the original name had to many letters in this is their anyway to revert back to the old Gamertag

    It's an email issue.

    The email you are trying to use has this profile randomly generated and attached to it.

    Before we can continue, I need to ask... Is the correct account joined to xbox live, or is it an offline account you are trying to join?

    OK, if the account that's supposed to be on this email is already connected to live, then there was an error in the system somewhere.

    It's not supposed to be able to have two profiles attached to one microsoft account.

    I highly recommend calling the support number and letting them know that your account somehow erred and now you have a randomly generated gamertag attached to it, and see if they can track down the correct one and see if it got lost in the system or if it
    ended up with some other email attached to it.

    Be prepared though, as this process will probably involve lots of little questions to verify details.
