Changed resolution from auto-detect to HDMI NEED HELP PLEASE!!!!!

Basically I have just moved in to a new house and I wanted to set up my Xbox on my new TV. I was changing all the settings to get the best picture quality. So what I did was change the resolution from auto-detect to HDMI. I did this because I thought I'm
using a HDMI so this would be the best option. Unfortunately it was the worst option as I can't get my Xbox to show on any TV I try. It says in the resolution settings on my TV's that its running on 640x480 @ 60 Hz and all I get is a blank screen when I turn
my Xbox on. All I need is for someone to tell me how I can change the resolution setting on my Xbox from HDMI back to auto-detect. Thank you for reading and please help!!!

    :)

It seems to default to DVI when "HDMI Auto" is selected, changing it to HDMI will fix the issue but you will probably need to change the resolution back to the correct 1080p also.

Hi, could you try resetting the display settings.

Remove any disc from the drive, power the xbox off, press and hold the power button and eject button on the xbox, keep both buttons held until you hear the second of two power on tones then let the buttons go.

Xbox One S stuck in Low Resolution Display.

Hello, on your console try changing the HDMI output option from Auto Detect to HDMI or HDMI to Auto Detect..

Still getting the "That didn't help" error

Upon changing the Display Overrides from Auto-Detect to HDMI, the picture changed to a 640 x 480 resolution and 4K was not an available option. Interesting!

    Thoughts??

    Thanks again Sammy!

Xbox one S low resolution mode

Hi, try changing the HDMI output option from Auto Detect to HDMI, then go back to the video output menu and try selecting 1080p. If the HDMI output is already set at HDMI then try changing that to Auto Detect.
