    Hello, i am expiriencing a weird problem with my account on my xbox 360.

    I wanted to change my password, and i did that flawlessly several times in fact,and both my Xbox one console and Xbox.com site works and registers the new password, as expected,but my xbox 360 does nt register my account and keeps wanting to make new
    passwords, that ,when i infact do that with my xbox 360, as you d expect work on both other devices, but not on Xbox360...

    What gives?

    Sign in with Kinect!

    I had it recently where I had to manually sign in every time with my password when it use to just recognise me. But I'd forgot I had updated my account details online and changed my primary email address. All you have to do is delete your account on the xbox one and then log in with your updated email and password. Now I just say xbox on and it auto loads me in.

    Why is my Xbox account not connecting to the internet

    So the situation is I changed my email and password to my account because they were both extremely outdated. Then I logged onto my account on my friend's Xbox in order to download and play some games that I own that he doesn't. Now, whenever i log onto my
    account on my home Xbox, I can't use any of the features that utilize the internet. My Xbox is still connected to the internet (other accounts on my Xbox still work fine), I've logged off of my friend's Xbox, and I've even changed my password. Has anyone else
    had/resolved this problem? Thanks!

    any chance you set up Two Step verification on the account? If so then please see this link for the steps on how to login at the 360:

    support.gtm.xbox.com/.../no-prompt-security-code

    If that isn't the case, please try the steps here:

    1. Delete your profile from the console, be sure to delete only the profile, to do so check this link:

    support.xbox.com/.../profile-move-delete

    2. Clear the console cache, see this link for the how to: ttp://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-360/settings-and-initial-setup/clear-system-cache

    3. Turn the console off.

    4. Turn the console on.

    5. Clear the console cache one more time

    6. Redownload your profile.(See the same link as 1.)

    Cant login to xbox 360 , even though able to change password on microsoft account on pc. Still no Joy, never had 2 step authentication , so no idea what that is.

    Mine has started working again on my xbox360. Not sure if it is using the password I changed on pc or not. Not risking trying to put it in manually, as its working now. Maybe there is a delay after resetting the password, maybe the password I changed is for a microsoft account thats seperate and my xbox live account is still using the old one. Not sure

    i need to unlink my account from this microsoft account

    so the microsoft account can have multiple emails and if i change the password on my xbox it wont change the password for the rest of the account because currently thats whats happening and with this password bug where my passwords on the xbox dont work
    this will be beneficial because the password should not be linked to office and the cloud
