Changed my GT, there was a mistake, now I'm getting the runaround...

So, I changed my gamertag from Twisted Daymare to 'Willfull' however it was supposed to be 'Willful' with only 1 'l'. I already payed the $10. I don't know how it happened, and I noticed it immediately but I contacted support, and they told me to report
my own gamertag with a message and I would hear from enforcement within 72 hours. Over a week later, still no response and support keeps telling me I have to "contact enforcement", yet "enforcement" seems to be some made up department that never responds to
anything but has no problem banning people. Any ideas???

Sorry, but support gave you incorrect information.You will need to pay to change your gamertag again. The enforcement team due issue forced gamertag changes, but only if your gamertag violates the code of conduct. Evem then, you are given a randomly generated
tag and will need to pay to change it to something of your choosing. There is no way to contact the enforcement team unless you have been suspended/banned and that's only to submit a case review.

Before I get the runaround. I have checked to make sure all my info is correct. I have checked all the folders in my email. I have read so many of these forums with you all just giving us the runaround. I'm tired of it. Two months is long enough, and I want
an answer.

Why do so many people believe that claiming some threat against them entitles them to a free name change, it doesn't. You need to pay the 800 MS Points like the rest of us.

If you actually believe that you're in mortal danger from another user on Live, changing your gamertag name should be the last thing you're concerned about. Instead of posting on these forums, try picking up the phone and calling the police.

also you can and might want to give your local police a call, since murder threats are really a big deal

and like Cow said, you'll have to pay 800 MSP in order to change your gamertag
