Discus and support changed my gamertag now I cant sign in. in XBoX on Consoles to solve the problem; The error code: 0x87DD0006 keeps popping up every time I try signing in.     changed my gamertag now I cant sign in.


    The error code: 0x87DD0006 keeps popping up every time I try signing in. I reset my console and modem many times and nothing has worked.

    New Gamertag

    I have changed my Gamertag on the xbox website , now I cant sign in with it (or the old one) on my xbox console.

    Any suggestions?

    Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

    Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

    Two Gamer tags connected to the same Live ID (SLightly different than other Similar post )

    I have gone back and checked and it is the same live id on my console for one gamertag as it is for another gamertag not on the console. also it doesnt take my password when i try and sign in on my xbox to change anything. i have done password reset five
    times over the last month seeing if it would let me sign in with a new password with no luck. this also means i cant sign in on any other consoles because of the required password. i have no problem changing the gamertag to a new windows live ID but without
    being able to access it i cant do that. the gamertag that is supposed to be associated with my account is VenomousGoat

    80151006 is an error which corresponds to an incomplete gamertag name change. Essentially what has happened is that while your profile was renamed, the associated data on the account was not properly transferred over. The good news is, this is 100% recoverable.
    My account was the same but it is now sorted
