    Changed my gamertag, and now I can't connect to Xbox Live


    I have an Xbox 360 and an Xbox One. I decided to change my gamertag, so I payed the fee and changed it on my Xbox One. While the Xbox One is working perfectly, the Xbox 360 isn't allowing me to connect to Xbox Live, it still has my old gamertag and it says
    "This profile can't connect to Xbox Live on this console. To fix it, download it again." Can anybody tell me what to do? Thanks in advance!

    Need Help with Xbox Live After Changed GamerTag

    Hi

    I'm currently having this issue after I changed my Gamertag. It was alright with my previous Gamertag when I decided to change Gamertag. After the Gamertag changed, I can't connect Xbox live for multiplayer mode. I was playing "Call of Duty WWII".

    Anyone face this issue.

    impossible to connect after having changed my gamertag on my xbox 360

    Hello,

    I changed my gamertag from "AlbatrosAvion20" to "Yeye Gingko Biloba" on my xbox 360.

    Now I can't connect to the xboxlive on my console, and, on internet, my gamertag seems to remain "AlbatrosAvion20".

    Can you help with this please ?

    I changed the xbox locale region already, but I can't change any gamer things since I should be connected to xbox live before i can change anything. I will delete the thing and download it again, see if that'll help

    edit: oh very good now I deleted the gamertag and I can't download it again because I'm not connected to xbox live so now I'm really screwed, thanks..

    So now that I've been unable to connect to Xbox Live (wired connection, never failed before) since Friday night, I decided to try a few of these "tricks". Now I can't even recover my gamertag (after deleting the profile only) from my 360 because I'm STILL
    UNABLE TO CONNECT to Xbox Live. Good times pause not.

    Now that it's been connected to the server, you can't undo anything. You can just remain disconnected in order to not use the service, but since someone else on Live already has your gamertag, you would not be able to change the gamertag back to that.

    I am having the same problem, I am usually connected by WiFi with my Xbox one and now it can't connect to Xbox Live even though it can see my network and I have changed none of my network settings.
