Changed my email and now I'm locked out?!

Hey, I've recently changed the email linked to my Xbox account, but now the Xbox won't verify the change and has locked me out of my account. I know it says to wait for 48 hours until it has registered, but the name change was registered in about
a minute so this has me gravely worried.

Any help on this issue would be grateful, thank you

Xbox one followers privacy/spam concerns. END IT

Even if you change your Gamertag, you purchases and saves are still locked to your account. I could change my gamertag right now and I still have everything. It stays with the email address you signed up with, not gamertag.

Sorry to hear it. Are you able to delete your profile from the console and then try logging back in using the new credentials?

If you cannot then your best bet would be to contact phone support for further assistance. If you live in North America dial 1-800-469-9269

I don't know how to post a thread, but this is almost directly related to my problem. I just changed my email address, and now the sign in is requesting I enter a password for an email that no longer exists on my account. On top of that, I am POSITIVE about
knowing my list of passwords, and none of them are working. So right now I'm locked out of my Xbox account, completely clueless on how to approach this.

The damn codes don't work now I'm locked out of my gold account. Because I can't access the old email I had before igot hacked and i couldnt get in it. the code they sent to my phone and other email doesn't work either. I'm getting sick of this bs
