    Changed my email and nothing works


    I changed my email to my Microsoft account because my old email had gotten hacked and now my xbox live doesn't work!!! I can't sign into it on my xbox because it always says there is an error, to try again later but won't give me an error code or anything.
    I'm super bummed out because I have had the xbox live account for 10 years and I want to get it to work. I have logged into my xbox with my new credentials(tried to) but it will get to the setup point and then stop saying there is an error. HELP ME PLEASE

    Thank you for reaching out to Xbox forums support.

    There was a major system update yesterday that caused a few issues for a while.

    If you haven't already done so, go ahead and try performing a Soft console Factory
    reset     on your console by doing the following:

    1. Press the Xbox button to open the guide.
    2. Select Settings.
    3. Select All Settings.
    4. Select System.
    5. Select Console info & updates.
    6. Select Reset console. [KEEP MY GAMES AND APPS]
    Make sure you have both your email and password on hand as you will be asked to sign back in. There is an option to delete everything and to save your games and apps; choose the latter. This will
    reset the Operating system [OS] of the console and allow you a fresh start-up.

    Same thing is happening to me. I changed my password, updated all info, and even added another email alias to log in with. Nothing is working. Ever since it asked me for my email and password everything is just chaos. I'm missing black ops 2 time.
