Guys - can someone please help me!!

I reset my Xbox as it kept switching off for no reason...I then had to re-enter all my Microsoft account details, to which i could not remember any and had no record (my stupidity).

after hours of going round in circles, not helped by Microsofts inexplicably poor support which constantly asked me to confirm the details I was trying to recover!!!! - I created a new account. I now have my Xbox working, but have lost £1000s worth of games purchased over the last few years. How can I get these back?

@Microsoft - you have to make it easier for people to contact you. You have open hours, but no numbers to call, you have a call back request which is not available, and the automatic help is rubbish. I've purchased these games and I expect to be able to locate and transfer them or whatever I need to do. It should be easier to do this and in the least explained more easily how to do this.

But indeed, those are the only ways.

It's a long shot, but worth the try though. Try to reach out to the store's support, check which options you got from them.

Unfortunately, via the gamertag you can't.

Via your email or phone number, but, you would need to fill out the recovery form.

Does anyone at Microsoft care to add any input into how I might resolve this issue. It cannot be that I've lost all this data. Surely someone at Microsoft knows how to fix this.

Can I not retrieve this data via my old gamertag?

It appears NO-ONE can help me. My new account appears to be linked to my old email address, so all I'm doing is resetting access I already have. What a joke!!!

I've lost £1000s worth of games I've downloaded over 5 years and Microsoft can do nothing to help me. Call back doesn't even work!!!!!!!!. Microsoft Support just tells me (via on screen, not in person to do what I've gone countless times already and that doesn't work.
