Changed Gamertag

Hello. I recently received an email informing me of a change to my Xbox Live account. The change was to my gamertag. I was told that the change was due to complaints of it being inappropriate. I logged onto my Xbox and the gamertag was removed and replaced
with another gamertag that i was not allowed to choose.

I do believe that the gamertag I had did not violate the terms of use or code of conduct. This is my opinion and my opinion should be highly valued as I am a customer, a paying customer.

My request is that the gamertag I had be put back. I hate the new gamertag I was given. I'm not paying 9.99 USD to change it AGAIN.

Gamertag changed

I got a message that connecting to Xbox Live was not possible with my profile and that I shoul download it again. After doing so my Gamertag was changed.

I want my tag back!

FNC? I few years ago they made my friend change his account. He was able to freely choose a new name. Now you have to pay? I am wondering why they changed it?

Once a forced name change has been issued the previous name would've been banned and with a clear name like that no judge will give you the time of day

Hello SweetCalf, Unfortunately you gamertag was deemed inappropriate and was likely reported by another customer who's opinion was highly valued as well since it violates the ToU. I've removed the personal info from your post to protect you against people
spamming you in retaliation or "to just have fun". I understand you may not have realized it but the post is in public view so I just wanted to save the hassle for you. I'm sure that the outcome will not change but if you seek further help you'll have to

No. There is no way to get another free change. You will have to pay to change it.

Yes, changing the gamertag again should be possible, als changing back to your previous Gamertag is possible, as long as your original Gamertag isn't already taken by somebody else.

Keep in mind each change will require a payment.

I'm afraid there are no free gamertag changes, if a gamertag was deemed to break the CoC/ToU then you will given a generated one and if you want to change the gamertag into something chosen by yourself it will have the fee like any gamertag change.
