    I recently changed my gamertag from TTV to . However after changed it I observed that it reads 589. when I go back to take away the 589 it says "#589" (the #589 is in grey so its not part of the name)how
    can I remove this?

    Hello I'm Daniel,

    I believe it is a glitch previous xbox members had that problem i would suggest that you reset your system the glitch could be only based on you Xbox.

    This is how Microsoft is handling gamertag now. They're doing stuff where multiple people can have the same name, but they append a numerical suffix to the end of the name to ensure uniqueness.
    why does it show to other players now?
