Changed Gamertag but it displays the old one in zombies only???

Dear community,

Can someone tell me how come on call of duty 3….I have changed my gamertag
but, in zombies it stayed the same as my original gamertag and clan tag? Weird.???

This might be a case of system needs to refresh on games end, But you can try an power cycle to fix this issue.

If it keeps happening Try reinstalling the game.

That is really strange creek road 420,

I would restart the game and console but it sounds like a development issue and you should contact the games developers directly to get the issue resolved.

For in-game issues , not related to xbox live service, just contact the game developers in their support forums.

Hello, there is no need to contact support. Your son has the correct gamertag, which was changed under the new system. Games still use the old system and will display the old gamertag until 2020. Even then only new games and certain old games will support
the new system. There was an option to change the 'old system' gamertag while you were creating the new one but now it's too late to do it for free.
