Changed Gamertag but Can't Download New Profiles into the 360 'emulator'

Actually figured out another solution - logged into my EA account, the gamertag switched over and volia... swooping can now be done

Good to hear, so we have 3 possible solutions for the mentioned problem

- 72h wait

- In games and add-ons delete the savegame once from the console

- log in to the other partners once (EA)

Hi Michelle, I had a friend run into this same issue before. We found a solution hopefully it can work for you too! For the game you are having issues with, hover over it and press the start button. Choose "manage game and add-ons". Delete your profiles
saved data. If this doesnt work go to settings - system - storage - clear local xbox 360 storage. I hope I could help good luck!

when did you change your tag, it can take upto 72 hours to propogate to all the services.

Is this happening with all backwards compatible games?

If you have changed your gamertag recently then you would need to redownload your profile to the 360 emulator on the One Here is instructions on how to do that.

1. Load any 360 game

2. Once loaded hit the start and select buttons on the controller (small round buttons on either side of the big xbox button) This will load the 360 guide.

3. click on download profile.

4. Enter email and password for your account.

This will redownload your profile to the 360 emulator on the one.

When you change your gamertag you have to redownload your profile to any 360 console including the emulator on the Ones
