Changed gamertag and game saves missing

Hello PapaSquatch1433, it's been a long time since you've switched your Gamertag, usually upgrading on all systems takes around 72 hours, not to mention the update that developers have to do in the database.

By definition you don't need to do anything because the exchange and the association is automatic.

If you have changed your gamertag everything should have carried over with your new name. And achivements will still be on the account even if the save game is missing.

You will need to check to see if the save game is corrupt or if you still have the game saves if not then im afraid there is nothing you can no apart from to keep a backup on a usb in the future.

Noteont put your e-mail adress as a tag.

On the console, saves are filed under gamertags and only the person with that gamertag can access the save file for playing a game. The saves did not get deleted as they should still be on your memory device under your previous gamertag's name. You can fix
the problem by changing your gamertag back to your previous one that is listed on the save file. sadly, since you changed your gamertag once, it will cost you 800 msp to change it back.

No, by changing your gamertag you keep your progress saved from the games and your linked accounts and subscriptions, it does not affect anything changing Gamertag

Sorry you cant change ownership of a game save as it is locked to the gamertag that saved it. But you can move the game save by using a usb flash drive or a transfer cable
