    Changed gamertag - 360 game saves gone


    After changing my tag, all 360 games kick me out of Live and tell me old tag can't be signed into.

    Attempts to download current profile fail no matter which 360 game I'm in. Injustice says there are no valid save spots (despite ample space on both internal and external HDDs) . Star Wars Force Unleashed, Mirror's Edge etc start downloading profile, but
    fail at the same point with error code 80090304.

    I have to say this is a seriously bush league for the company that invented the PC. C'mon guys

    Gamertag has been determined to be inappropriate

    I received a email regarding my gamertag. I'm playing on xbox360 and my old gamertag was 5 and has been changed to . I'd like to know why my gamertag was changed and how is any different the 5?

    Also, all of my save game is GONE. Where is all my equip, char, etc...

    Yeah, but if I changed that gamertag from Mosh1mo to something else, will that make that gamertag available or forever gone? I just want my gamertag for a new console... Not the games as he can keep them.

    Same exact issue here. Many people seem to be reporting the issue downloading their profile, however mine also started with a gamertag change this morning.

    There was an issue with that error code happening last night that we were aware of. At this point, we believe the issue to be resolved. Can you try launching some of your back compat titles and let us know if you run into the same error?

    The profile you are trying to load is no longer available

    I was slightly misunderstanding the second profile trick. I can get the game to run if I create a second gamertag. The issue is obviously with my gamer tag of .

    I tried changing my gamertag from to Ennogs100. I got the same profile error messge.

    As I can start a new game with my new gamertag I am going to do so. I will just have to accept the saved game date for /Ennogs100 is gone.

    On the console, saves are filed under gamertags and only the person with that gamertag can access the save file for playing a game. The saves did not get deleted as they should still be on your memory device under your previous gamertag's name. You can fix
    the problem by changing your gamertag back to your previous one that is listed on the save file. sadly, since you changed your gamertag once, it will cost you 800 msp to change it back.
