Changed email now can't subscribe to the newsletter

sorry to hear. Are you talking about the Communication Permissions here
"https://account.microsoft.com/profile/contact-info"?? If so, try to add your new email at
"https://www.xbox.com/newsletter". And please test beforehand whether you can also receive and send emails (with your new email) via
Outlook.com, not that a failure was saved in the settings (with the password or account data).

Thanks, new email has been primary for a few weeks. Hopefully fixed now by signing up using the xbox newsletter link posted above.

Yes, I was talking about the communication permissions. I've signed up on the second xbox newsletter link you sent. Gone back into my communication permissions and it's now showing, so hopefully that has done the trick, thanks.

Try to make your new email as primary. It can take some more time to change email permission.
