Changed "A" to "not being used"

hello,

So I changed the button "A" to "not being used" and now I can‘t do anything against that, because I have to press "A" to get to the settings. What can i do about it? I want to keep my account. Can you somehow fix that? Thank you very much.

Unused Gamertags

Gamertags are used on other services,not just xbox live,so you can't know whether a gamertag is being used or not.

Things changed last year so now if a gamertag does not log in for 5 years it is then made available.

Chances are there will not be any more mass releases due to this.

Gamertag Not being able to be changed?

I've Waited All Day Since Yesterday To Try To Change My Name, And I Keep Getting A Status Code....When I Tried To Look It Up It Said It Didn't Exist. I Have 10.28$ In My Account To Change My Name But It Wont Let Me

Hi

As long as you know the account details and the console is online then all of your games and game saves will be safe. If you have a second account on your console you could try using that account to see if you can remove your account from the console and
re load the account to see if that fixes the problem.

Apart from that you may wish to try a factory reset by following the instructions below and when the troubleshooting screen appears try using the Reset this Xbox option and when prompted select to keep games and apps.

Power off your console, and then unplug the power cord to ensure that the console is completely powered off.

Wait 30 seconds, and then plug the power cord back in.

Press and hold the BIND button (located below the Xbox button on the console) and the
EJECT button (located on the front of the console), and then press the
Xbox button on the console. Please note on the original Xbox One the BIND button is on the left side of the console near the disc drive slot.

Continue holding the BIND and EJECT buttons for 10-15 seconds.

Listen for two “power-up” tones a couple of seconds apart. You can release the
BIND and EJECT buttons after the second power-up tone.

The console should power up and take you directly to the Xbox Startup Troubleshooter.

I would have to agree they are not using dedicated servers from what i saw last night its peer-to-peer which gives people host advantage/ability to lag glitch/etc... For CoD being a big feather in MS hat they sure can't give them (Activision) enough money
to use the MS Dedicated servers and make this game awesome...hope they turn on the ability to do digital trade ins soon so i can trade this one in...never again will i own or play a cod game. BOII still the best.

Is the gamertag akready being used you may have to change slightly

Hello! The only way to remove the discriminator (The #2457) is to change your gametag to something that is not currently being used. Your gamertag was given the discriminator since tt is already in use (It will do this with any gamertags that are already
being used).

You will not be able to get a forced gamer tag change unless it violates the CoC or ToU and to me it looks like it doesn't plus with the new policy you will have to pay the amount that it's asking for sorry :l
