So today i noticed that my display in most games and apps was off center with things being either too far left or right (Things were being cutoff). So i went to the display settings of my Xbox and went to the one thats set to auto-detect (I think its like
input source or something) and chose HDMI as i am using an hdmi setup, but now my xbox isnt on any of the inputs on my TV.

    :)

    Hello cooper,

I'm sorry that you're having this issue with your Xbox display settings sometimes will not show up right on your TV. If they are not correct on the console you must reset the display settings on the console itself in the order for the HDMI input to show
back up on the TV. I will give you a link here in the post as well as give you a solution below you may choose either or to help you if you click the link just disregard the information below

    support.xbox.com/.../tv-or-monitor-screen-is-blank-while-connected

    Soultion 1

    • Confirm that both your TV and Xbox One console are turned on.
    • Check that your TV is set to the correct input signal (HDMI).
    • Check that the HDMI cable connection to your console is secure.
    • Check that the HDMI cable connection to your TV is secure.
    • Check that the HDMI cable is connected to the "out to TV" port on the console.
    • Perform a cold boot on your Xbox One console by holding the power button on the front of the console for approximately 10 seconds, and then turn it on again.
    • Reset your display settings. Here's how:
      1. If there's a disc in the Xbox One console, eject it.
      2. On the console, press and hold the Xbox button for five seconds to turn off the console.
      3. Press and hold the Xbox button and the Eject button until you hear a beep to turn on the console. You will hear one beep right away and a second beep 10 seconds later. The power light will flash on before the second beep. DO NOT LET GO until
        the second beep occurs.

Note This will boot your console in low resolution mode (640 × 480). To reset this setting, go to Settings in the guide, select Display & sounds, Video options, and then TV Resolution.
      4. If you are required to complete these steps on every boot-up, you will want to change your TV connection to HDMI as shown in step 3 in the next section, "Your screen is blank and you use an AVR in your setup." For more information, see How
to adjust the display settings on your Xbox One console
        .
    • Try plugging the HDMI cable into a different HDMI port on your TV.
    • Try using a different HDMI cable to connect your console to your TV.
    • Try connecting your console to a different TV.

Unfortunately this did not work. How ever I did have a theory. That if I can not see what is happening I could attempt to use the Kinect to guide it. Its a longshot but if there is even a chance this could work I would like to try it, but first ill need
to figure out which commands to use and in which order. So if anyone wants to help me try a stupid idea any help would be appreciated.

Okay I see what is the exact format of your TV 1080i, 1080p, 720p unfortunately I did not own it connect with my Xbox One or else I'd be more than happy to assist you with those commands. I am curious as to see why the reset of the display settings did not
work as this is the only way to reset the display on the console itself unless anybody else has any other input to do that I know this is kind of a dumb thing to do but have you tried switching HDMI ports on your TV just a suggestion to do sometimes the littlest
    things work
