    Although there are many with this problem, Ive read to post an origional post to get the best help I can.

    Bought an Xbox One about two weeks ago and everything was going fine. I downloaded the MC collection and also bought a one month subscription for Gold along with setting up a new card for billing. Now when I try and purchase a game through the store on
    my Xbox, it tells me that I must "change your settings to allow purchases." I've checked four or five times that my settings are set to completly open. (I should be able to download and buy as I please). Whats my problem?

    I'm level 63 on GTA V Online and i can't buy Gold Membership , My mom allow me to buy , i have Custom Privacy Settings to allow purchases, i can buy Disney Custom for my player , but i can't buy Gold Membership

    Change your settings to alllow purchases problem

    Hey dude,

    Do you have a child account by chance? As I think that is what causes that error, in which case the parent account needs to do the following:

    Have the relevant person log into the Parent account. Click on the child account. Go to privacy, go to custom, go to buy/download and then remove the permissions for buy and download. Exit out, and then re-enter and change the same buy/download setting
    back to ANYTHING.

    Then go back in, and it should be working

    Hey dude,
