    Xbox can you change the way the xbox one updates this is getting ridiculous. Im op'd in to the alpha dashboad preview so i understand the may be frequent updates but getting one a day for 5-8 days in a row is getting ridiculous and the fact im locked out
    of my system untill it updates is even more infuriating why cant you make these updates happen when its on standby my system is set to offline downloads/updates or why cant i play online while it downloads then prompt me its ready to install so i can save
    and reset. The fact that other people can play without these updates suggests i Don't need this update installed to play online.

    Xbox One's new Dashboard: simpler, better

    I love the way the new dashboard looks. It will look even better once I change the background of it though. I have been waiting patiently for Xbox to make a new dashboard. It's crazy because there are always updates to your system, but the updates never change appearance.

    Not in preview - but there are certain settings - not working for preview?

    Keep system up to date - and Instant startup - are two?

    Checkbox says it say updates are done when turned off - but not sure if working in power saving mode.

    I'm in the alpha ring as well & never have an issue.

    My console is in power saving mode,& in settings,system,updates I have both console & games & apps boxes ticked so any console updates are downloaded while the console is off & any games/apps updates download in the background as soon as I turn my console
    on.

    The other option is to have your console in "instant on" mode.

    I'm in the alpha ring as well & never have an issue.

    Why does it say (C)2015 Microsoft Corporation in the System Info on my Xbox 360 when the 2.0.17559 update was in 2019?

    because that was the last major update which changed certain things, all the latest updates have been incremental and not system changing as the xbox 360 only gets the odd security updates and odd performance updates.
