    My main Xbox Gamertag's account is tied to an old email I still have access but I'm no longer using.

    I want to transfer that gamertag to my current email.

    How can I do this?

    Recover the "dummy" account on the Xbox and change the email address to something else, that will free up your email address to use on your main gamertag.

    Then once that email address becomes free, change it on your main gamertag. Job done.
