    Change xbox gamertag to manage family


    My gamertag is currently setup against a Gmail account but I want to move it over to my outlook account which is admin for family on office 365 so I can use the parental controls for my daughter. It doesn't seem to allow me to move it to an existing Microsoft
    account and I don't have any family spaces left to bring it in that way.

    Any help would be much appreciated.

    Hi

    You may just have to sign in the family account via desktop computer and make the changes for the family account there. It sounds like a safety and privacy issue and you may need to change them

    I'm not sure where you heard you could change your account for free just by upgrading to the Family Pack, but here's the deal... When you sign up for Xbox live and let the system generate a Gamertag for you, you can change it for free.

    support.xbox.com/.../change-xbox-live-gamertag    . You'll have you 30 days to change it for free. After that time, you have to pay 800 MS points to change it. I hope this helps.
