Change the capitalization of my gamertag

Greetings,

since there is no way to just change the capitalization of a gamertag (availability check states "already in use") I suppose the only way to change the tag is to:

- change the tag to something else

- change it to the new capitalization afterwards

My question: is the old tag "blocked" for a time and cannot be re-reserved afterwards or should I be able to do the two changes immediately?

With the gamertag that I already had purchased as "", I believe I should be able to change the capitalization of one letter as the gamertag is already claimed as mine. I'm looking to change my gamertag from "" to "",
making the "i" in the word "in" to be not capitalized. To do this, however, requires changing my gamertag twice, costing $19.98, when I already own the gamertag. If I could just change the capitalization of one letter without being billed, that'd be lovely.

 

Gamertag Capitalization change

I was looking to change my gamertag capitalization from aChaz to Achaz is possible. I was given directions to go to the enforcement.xbox.com web page for review with case number [Mod Removed]. I hit a dead end there and was then told to
post to this forum.

Is there any way I can get this changed? Thanks so much for the help!

 

You can do it immediately ZeroSkyX given that it took effect immediately after your first attempt. At this time, there seems to be an ongoing issue for changing GTs so I would not recommend to do it right now(due to the release of inactive GTs).
