    Change startup "Hi Name" in Xbox One


    I just configured my new Xbox one with the usual FirstName and LastName then I turned off the Xbox. When I powered it back on, during the startup, there's a message that says "Hi FirstName"; now, I want to change the FirstName that appears during the startup,
    how do I do that?

    Change startup "Hi Name" in Xbox One

    You can change it on your PC by clicking on this link: account.live.com/summarypage.aspx

    You want to log into your account and click on 'Edit Name' (right under the first option 'Display Name').

    The next time you start up your console it should have updated (and if it doesn't, give it some time to update).

    Hi there, If you look in settings/ all settings/ power & startup/ power mode & startup, there should be an option to change the Startup chimes.

    On another note opening up your Xbox would be a breach of the terms of use and leave you open to a console suspension, not only that but you could never get the Xbox repaired by Microsoft.
