    Hi, pls help me, I wanted to buy a game from xbox live store, have the error 9049 try to change my region the problem not solved, now I want to change the region back but the support chat told me that I need to wait 3 month, are u serios? 3month? how to
    buy games? we don't have any local game store, only online store, I don't have no credit card, I have only money on my acc. Please help me to change my region. If u know where I can send an email maybe to talk with someone else. Thank you and waiting for your

    So I cant change my region back to the US for three months? For some reason it wont let me change back to the US.

    Or you can bypass all of that shit and just redeem the cde on xbox.com with a change of region. If you change the region, I believe you get the english version.

    Sorry but you will have to wait the 3months.

    A region change is there for when you move or are spending a long time in another region,not to try & buy games from other regions,which is against the ToC.

    There's nothing you can do other than wait the 3 months.

    You could try contacting support for your region & explain this to them & they may waive the waiting period but it's highly unlikely,especially considering the reason you performed the region change in the first place.

    Ms points are region locked to the region they were purchased in

    Government regulations do apply its copyright and distibution rights

    What is allowed in the us is not nessarily allowed in uk or Canada

    Like Netflix us is not allowed in Canada due to the CRTC requirements

    Nor is us films in Netflix allowed in uk due to distibution rights you need uk Netflix

    Gold isn't region free just like Microsoft points aren't.

    It is split up into sections, North America (so the OP should be able to use a USA Gold on a Canadian account), Europe (I have a UK account but lived in Sweden for 6 years and used my UK account nomally. Now I live in the USA and Microsoft have all but blocked
    my account from buying anything because they won't even let me add UK points anymore so I have a 6 year old account, 100k+ GamerScore, thousands of GBP worth of DLC invested in it and because Microsoft won't allow you to change region on your account it is
    now next to useless. Starting a new account is NOT an option when you spent so much money on DLC when Microsoft clearly CAN allow region changes like they did with the new territories that the OP mentioned.) and Asia.

    i know how to get your account back all u gotta do is delete ur account off of your xbox and then click recover gamertag and delete profile only and then you got your account back.
