change parental code when I don't the the answer to the security question

I recently tried to access netflix through Xbox live only to be told I needed to entre the parental code which I don't know as I never set it up. It seems I can only change the code by answering the security question 'favourite food'. However, I don't know
the answer as again I never set it up. How do I go about changing the code and security question?

Has anyone experienced this issue, i.e. having a code and security question set up on their console without their knowledge - could this be a default setting with a default code/question?

I forget the acces for Parental Control

Hi! I have problem with my xbox 360, i don't remember the access code for parental code and the answer for the security question too because my brother did and we don't remember the access code or answer for the question. I will like to reset this option
because have some problems when i try to connect online with a few games and i can't do it

I need to get rid of the parental control on my xbox 360

I have recently purchased an secondhand Xbox 360 new slim. The previous owners have not taken off the parental control. I don't know the code, nor the answer to their security question to change the Family Settings.

Does anyone know how I can get rid of the Family Settings?

Hi there,

From the console, go to Settings > family > select a content control setting > when prompted, enter the passcode.

If you don't recall the passcode, you can select Reset Pass Code and answer the pass code question that appears > select Done.

If you don't know the answer to the passcode question, you'll have to contact Xbox Support so they can assist in resetting it:

Maybe one of you will know the answer to my question, I bought a Black 360 at a pawn shop and now I have a problem that it has parent control set on it and I can't get into Netflix or even IHeart Radio. How can I override the parent code? I don't know the
answer to the security question either.

Can anyone help me get the answer to this question please and how and the heck do I get a hold Microsoft person to talk to, like a phone number.

The only way to remove the parental lock is by knowing the pass code, answering the security question if you forgot the pass code, or have the parent call
Microsoft Phone Support.

I assume this means you are being asked for a Parental Passcode when trying to edit/view the settings. This was set by someone when they turned on the Family Settings. Even just be enabling the feature you need to use a code. If you don't remember this code,
or the answer to the security question you could set, you will need to call phone support (support.xbox.com/contact-us) to verify ownership of the Parent Account to be able to reset it.
