    A friend of mine recently had to replace the internal hard drive on his sons xbox one and when he logs into his profile all data (games, save history) have disappeared. Is there any way this can be resolved?. Thanks

    Hello sorry but we cant help with this type of question here since the console is considered tampered with. Next time if its an issue with the console it should be sent to Xbox repair not self repair. We cant help with self repair here sorry.

    The internal drive on the XB1 can't be changed. You can expand it with an external hard drive, however.

    I only have one hard drive on my Xbox--the internal hard drive--so I haven't changed the destination settings.

    Did you change the internal hard drive with a new one or are you struggling to get an external hard drive to be picked up by the console?

    Changing the internal hard drive goes against the Code of Conduct and you risk getting the console banned. Any warranty you had on the console will be void if you open the console.

    Best is to use an external hard drive.

    If you struggling to get the external picked up by the console then you should check the link provided by the other Ambassador.

    Something is wrong with my Xbox One and I don't know what it is or how to fix it. Can someone help?

    Also when you do a uninstall of game, it is important to RESTART CONSOLE and do a fresh install after, also if you are using a EXTERNAL HARD DRIVE, then try the internal drive and see if any change, if on internal - then try to install on external
    drive and see if any change
