Change my physical Save to digital

The save does not need recovering. When you buy the digital version of the game it just means you no longer need the disc to play.

There should be no difference between the physical and digital games other than the license. If you are playing on a disc and change to digital you will need to uninstall and reinstall the digital games due to the licenses and same from digital to physical.
Other than that you will still keep your progress, DLCs, and save games.

Digital all the way. Pros are that I can quickly change between games, save on physical storage space, don't have to worry about disc scratching, and so much more.

When i was younger, I was big on physical games and keeping boxes and manuals etc. As I've gotten older, i prefer digital now, mainly because of the space saving and to be honest, I like being able to change games without having to physically get up and
swap games. Must be getting lazy in my old age!

Your progress will be saved in any case no matter if it's a physical or digital copy.
