Change mail on xbox

is it possible to change mail on xbox but my previous mail will be working

E-mail associated with my Xbox Live account.

I made a new e-mail(alias) on my microsoft account that is associated with my Xbox Live account. I changed the new e-mail(alias) to primary and it changed on my Xbox Live automatically and I changed it to the new one on my account contact settings too and
everything is working.

But there is one small issue, although I change everything to the new e-mail(alias) I still get all e-mail from Xbox Live on my old e-mail(alias) and games like World of Tanks(beta) where you have to accept stuff and they show your e-mail is still saying
I'm on my old e-mail(alias).

Is there something I forgot to change or is it something that support can change?

Can't change contact preferences.

Go to the billing contact preferences, and change the e-mail. Be sure to use a safe and secure e-mail address, as xbox is under a hacking crisis (related to EA?). I'd change the e-mail on the billing website which is also the contact preference.

If it is a Microsoft server email (@outlook.com, @Hotmail.com, @live.com, @msn.com) then if you change the email and remove one of those emails from the account you will lose access forever from that email.

if it is not a Microsoft server email you can sign into the account at account.live.com/addassocid and add a new email to the account and then remove the old one and it wont be associated with the account anymore.

You cannot move anything to another Microsoft account. You can add an alias(email to your account) and use it to use Microsoft services. This link has all the information about it.

Is your son playing on the Xbox signed in as you? If this is the case, you will need to create a separate Microsoft account for him and assign this to the Microsoft Family group. Then you will be able to control his profile using the family app.
