    Hi,

    I need to reset my phone and want to use my new live id as my main account on my phone. This will result in a lose of all my Xbox live data.

    There for i would like to change my live id which is currently conntected to my Xbox live account to my new main live id account.

    But it seems impossible to change your e-mail connected to your xbox live account on the pc or phone.

    hope i make sence and thx in advance for helping

    (i dont have a Xbox 360)

    Gamertag Change?

    Change the windows live ID on this account and then change your original accounts windows live ID to it. Keep in mind you can only change your windows live ID every 30 days.

    Live id change

    Unfortunately you can not change Windows LIVE ID's more than once in the 30 days. This is for your account's protection. There isn't a way around this. We apologize for the inconvenience.

    Change live id

    An xbox would be needed to do this. On an xbox you'll need download your profile and then go to system settings-account-account security-change Microsoft account, then add in your new Live ID as long as the new one is not attached to a gamer tag.

    You can change the email on your account from
    https://account.live.com    . As for changing it on the phone, this requires a hard reset. It will not erase your Xbox Live data as that is stored to your account, not locally on the phone itself. To change your Gamertag, superhugmonkey is correct about that.

    Trying to change Live_ID on my primary Gold Account

    Okay, what you'll want to do is change the Live ID on the free account to a different Live ID. After that, you should be able to change the Live ID on the original account to the Live ID that's currently in use. :)

    oh LOL lemme guess you changed the wrong account to a temporary to free up a windows live id you wanted to use

    you free up the windows live id/gamertag account that you want to change first to free up the windows live id

    then on the gamertag you change the freed windows live id to it

    Then you need to A change your windowslive id associated with the account then change the region of the windows live id

    Windows live id doesnt affect the region of Any xbox account

    B create they appropiate windows live id and use that instead
