Change language to English on region Belgium

Hi everyone

Is there a way to select Belgium as region and still be able to select English as language?

The reason is that I want to be able to buy X360 games with gold through the web (as my xbox is at work and we have to stay home), but still want my xbox to be in english.

I've found out that if you select language English, region English UK and say you live in Belgium on your Xbox One, you CANNOT purchase any free X360 games with gold on the web store. For some reason, the setting on your xbox prevents you from doing that
(you can see errors in the web console log) which is bad programming imho.

You can buy it on your Xbox One itself, but I cannot do that.

If this is not possible, can we please have a dev look into this and add English for maybe every country (or at least Belgium and The Netherlands :-D )? Because I have a feeling this will still be an issue with the Xbox Series X.

Thank you for coming to the forums today. I'd be happy to help.

From your console settings you can change the language to English while keeping your console location in Belgium. From your settings go to System>Language and Location and then set your language region to English (Belgium) and system language to English,
while leaving the location to Belgium.

Try that out and let us know the results!

I know , i live in Belgium but Microsot only put French and Dutch for our country.

That's the reason why i suggested you to put your feedback as customer on the offcial ideas website

About your error , its maybe cookies issue with your browser > call Windows support https://support.microsoft.com/

Belgium only has French and Dutch as official languages , Microsoft applied that rule to all supported countries.

The only work around its to put a country with English as official language.

Okay thank you for the link, will definitely do that. In the meantime: after changing my xbox one region (after explaining someone who had to go to our work building) I still can't get it to work.

I get following errors:

I always get french in the purchase screen, even if my url is nl-be and my Xbox is set as Dutch (Nederlands). That can't be right either. Did I miss something here?

Allright, I figured it out by myself.

With my language region set to Dutch (Nederlands) / Belgium, fitness does not work. When I change it to English UK, fitness works.

For testing purposes I changed the language region back to Dutch / Belgium, and fitness again does not start.

I have more problems with my home region and language, xbox video is not avaiable, Speech recognition does not let me choose a language...

You guys do realize the xbox one was launched in Belgium ?
