    Change language for Backwards compatible games?


    So my dominant language is Japanese, So all my Xbox one games are in Japanese but all my 360 games are still in English. Is their any way to change this option? I have checked the language for my Xbox one and it is in Japanese as well as Location but all
    my 360 games still remain in English.

    Backwards Compatibility Issue

    Yes, in some regions some backward-compatible games do not work with an Xbox OC. Try to change the console region in "Language & Loation" section and try again.

    Backward compatible games in local language

    Is it possible to play backward compatible title (Viva Pinata) in local (Czech) language ? I've got a X360 game disc that has a local language and dubbing, but on XboxOne S the game always runs in English language.

    Hi. Did you ever find solution to this one? I have the problem with Gears of War Judgment that runs with Danish language (even if console language - also menus of the Xbox 360 running in compatibility modes) are in English. Can you only change the language
    manually when there is a menu item for this inside the game?

    K holding no as your account region decided your game languages on 360

    Very few games have in game menu to change the language

    @qs no if you picked an English region when setting up your account

    You must change your xbox live region. To Japan if you want to do so

    Under my account and change.my region on this site then change it on the console

    Language independence is an xbox one feature only

    There don't appear to be any language options in Halo 4. And to clarify, I am not using the MCC version.

    Hi Intaminator,

    Not 100% sure if this will work but Try going to > Settings > System > Location section and select Language & location. Next, use
    the Language menu to make your selection.
